Reading, spelling & language
Investigate how words and sentences work. Explore connections among meaning, spelling, pronunciation, word structure, and context—with room to notice, question, and test ideas.
You see the ideas, interests, and possibilities. You may also see how much effort reading, writing, or getting started can take. There is room to explore what would make learning more manageable.
For families and learners of all ages. Begin with a conversation about fit.
Tell us what your learner enjoys, where support would help, and what you hope will become easier. Services are shaped around individual goals and fit.

Practice making steps visible, getting started, checking an approach, and deciding what to try next. Educational therapy, ADHD coaching, or academic support may be included based on fit.
Bring your observations and questions. We can discuss priorities, the kind of support being sought, and whether a written learning profile and service plan would be useful.
Stephanie guides learners to notice relationships, explain their thinking, and test possibilities. Within the Lokahi WORD Project approach, language is explored through connected inquiry. A response offers something to investigate, rather than a complete judgment of what a learner understands.
Clear steps, visible information, and flexible ways to respond support participation. The learner’s observations and your family’s perspective help inform the work.
